Steve Harland Rugby Referee, is interviewed by the good people at KYBO of the Keep Your Boots On initiative in England. Harland talks about what it was like for him when he first started refereeing and the kind of support he received from his local referee society.
The Keep Your Boots On initiative is an England Rugby program that encourages and helps players to stay in the game as coaches and referees when their playing days are over. They provide inspiration, motivation and instruction on how to make the transition from player to referee.
